Betaspring

Betaspring is looking forward to spending some quality time with Startup America CEO Scott Case tomorrow. Scott is in town for the The Met School's grand opening for its new Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship--which is awesome! While here, Scott will visit with the Betaspring team and host a roundtable conversation with a group of Rhode Island startups about emerging trends, topics and issues that have an impact nationally and locally. 

One of the things we like best about being in Providence is the strength and comraderie within our entrepreneurial community. It's important that leaders like Scott hear from startups that are at all stages of development and get deep, real time insights into the challenges we face and the victories we have won. 

Before joining Startup America, Scott was founding CTO of Priceline. As Chief Technology Officer, he was responsible for building the technology that enabled Priceline’s hyper-growth--Priceline was one of only a handful of startups in U.S. history to reach a billion dollars in annual sales in less than 24 months.  Yeah, he knows some stuff.  

On behalf of the Providence/RI startup scene, we'll do our best to show Scott how we rock it in the Ocean State. After the roundtable we'll intro him to some local craft beer and share some inside tips on the local scene.
