Betaspring is accepting applications for our Fall 2012 accelerator, which kicks off in Providence on August 20. The early application deadline is May 21. Final application deadline is June 5. Companies who apply by May 21 will be eligible to attend a private event for applicants on June 11 at Betaspring HQ.
Twice a year, entrepreneurial teams from around the country come to Providence for Betaspring’s intensive 12-week accelerator. Our full-immersion program, which runs in Spring and Fall, enables teams with a strong start on a high-growth venture to rapidly transform into fundable, scalable companies. Read our FAQ.
Throughout the program, startups develop and refine their product, launch it to their target customer groups, and test their delivery and business models. Through interactions with Betaspring Mentors and select audiences, each startup refines their company and polishes their pitch. By the conclusion of the program, companies are well-positioned to attract follow-on funding or have built a path to profitability wherein they can operate without additional investment. An active alumni and mentor network sustains and supports Betaspring startups after the program as they tackle the world.
Betaspring has accelerated 44 companies since our launch in 2009. We work with companies in web/ mobile, physical technology and gaming. Today, our alumni companies and our 85+ person mentor network connect us with expertise and resources coast-to-coast and around the world.
Applications are accepted through the Betaspring website and teams are selected through a competitive selection process. Teams accepted into the program receive intense mentoring, access to Betaspring's extensive network, seed capital, a fully equipped work space and immersion in an entrepreneurial culture where they can develop a strong peer support network.
